We have been working with The Rainforest Alliance, since 2008; training, developing and implementing best sustainable practices based on Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria.
In September of 2011, Los Andes de America obtained The Rainforest Alliance Verified™ mark, which is awarded to tourism businesses that comply with the Global Sustainable Tourism Criteria. Businesses that earn the verification mark support a healthy environment and the conservation of local communities and cultures.

1.- Managerial
We develop our business management to be viable and focus in promote the welfare and economic development of our staff and the community of Cusco. We are looking for share our economic potential of our activities with our community.
2. - Socio-Cultural
We aim to be socially responsible and to promote Andean Culture, this is why we have developed a social project that supports the weaver artisans of Sicuani Andean Communities, providing them a direct sales channel and organizing trade fairs, where they could sell their products and interact with our visitors.
3. Environmental
Best Western Los Andes de America has developed its environmental management from the implementation of standards giving by the Environmental Management System ISO 14001 and the implementation of environmental best practices thought the Rainforest Alliance technical support. Our Environmental Management activities allow us to save natural resources and the prevention, reduction or elimination of environmental impacts caused for our economic activities.
